Women's Social Work — El Callejon

The social work site in El Callejon builds unity among young children and teenage girls through home visits, Bible study, craft projects, and various other activities. The site works several mornings a week running an early stimulation program with 3 to 4 year old children with mild development delays. In addition they run programs for pre-teens and teens. Most children and young teens in the site come because of brokenness, abuse, or neglect in their home. By teaching biblical principles concerning self-confidence, responsibility, sexual purity, wise decision-making, and character development, people's lives are transformed. Participants can expect to be challenged in relating to those of another culture, and will be challenged to do so in a very personal manner.
