- Site Description:
- Holman is the site leader for the agriculture site. Holman has a degree in agronomy, English and has also graduated from seminary. He is married to Elianor Navarrete who is also on staff and serves in our education site, they have one daughter, Jassyris and one son, Elliot. Holman is passionate about agriculture and seeing the success of farmers. He uses agricultural practices to enhance the production of individual small plot farmers and wants to see them be transformed by the power of God. The agriculture site works with small producers, owners of land ranging from 1-2 acres. We work primarily in two rural communities (Las Azucenas and Vista Alegre sector I) near Masaya. The agriculture site directly serves 16 families between both communities and two public schools in the area with advice on school garden establishments and environmental education workshops. We are focused on developing four components: 1. Preparation of organic fertilizers. 2. Technical assistance and training workshops in the agricultural field. 3. Vegetable production in home gardens or biointensive gardens. 4. Micro-credit program in agricultural and small commercial activities. Its main objective is to increase the economic income of its beneficiaries, by increasing productivity and diversification in their agricultural activities, as well as sharing the word of God in all training workshops, special activities and in visits to individual homes each week. We firmly believe that only God can transform human lives in a comprehensive way.

- Site Description:
- We currently offer tutoring in two communities at our ministry center, El Faro. We are trying to help elementary age children master basic tasks such as reading and math. We also serve as a resource to the local school in providing follow up with the children and finding ways to be helpful at the school. During the activities time we share bible stories and crafts that reinforce both biblical and academic principles. Through the academic interaction we are able to visit the children in their homes and establish relationships with their parents in order to share the gospel at every level.

- Site Description:
- The English Tutoring Site serves mainly teenage kids and some adults. At the tutoring site we have been able to incorporate games and songs to make learning more engaging. Outreach participants spend a lot of time talking with students in order to help them hear and pronounce English better. You will also help lead games and activities. We also have the opportunity to interweave the Bible and the gospel message into the program. We want to provide a safe, fun place for the teenagers to come where they can feel God’s love and learn about His amazing Grace.

- Site Description:
- Dr. Celia and Nurse Priscila serve patients at the clinic in the S.I. ministry center, El Faro. We work primarily with support groups for chronic patients and offer open consultation hours once a week. We run a nutrition group for malnourished and undernourished children. Home visits are a staple and we will be starting women’s health education soon as well. There is time spent addressing physical needs and also the emotional and spiritual needs of many.

- Site Description:
- The micro-finance ministry works with people in six communities, providing financial education, followed by small business loans averaging $200, to help either start their business or help grow it. The site has recently started a savings program as well. With each loan paid back they qualify for a larger loan. In weekly meetings they participate in a Bible study, discuss issues in their businesses, and make payments on their loans. In addition to the weekly meetings, Katia & Fernando reach out to the women through personal home visits and spiritual care.

- Site Description:
- Dr. Mandi is happy to be serving the communities of Masaya, Nicaragua through physical therapy. She strives to not only help their patients physically but also spiritually, emotionally, and socially. For this reason, outside of regular PT visits she has other activities, such as aquatic therapy, pilates group for women, and excursions. Each activity starts with a short Bible study to encourage community members in the different areas of their lives.

- Site Description:
- Soccer and other sports are a bridge in this site to reach many who come from broken homes. There is a program to teach self defense and boxing for women. We also have a training program for those that want to become certified as a boxing instructor or a gym instructor. Teaching biblical truth and doing physical activities are a focus each time we meet. We teach soccer, baseball, boxing, personal training and strategic games. Nestor mentors everyone that joins his clases and provides a strong male role model. The Sports Site is a safe place to socialize and learn to know God, their loving Creator.

- Site Description:
- This site focuses on running a small trade school, specializing in electrical engineering and basic home appliance repair. We have a small group of young people that have either dropped out of school or have not found something to continue doing. We hope to teach them some useable skills as well as disciple them spiritually. When they are not learning in class, they are carrying out maintenance projects around the base, neighbors’ appliances or basic construction projects in the communities where they live.

- Site Description:
- This site works with women from a variety of different communities in order to teach them some work-related skills. The site teaches four different classes; cosmetology, cooking, event planning/decorating, and jewelry making. Most women in the site come from homes that are broken, abusive and most often neglected. By teaching biblical principles concerning self-confidence, responsibility, sexual purity, wise decision-making, and character development, the women’s lives are transformed. Our desire is that the women are restored and given tools to succeed now and into the future. Outreach participants will help teach classes or a skill that you have or be models for our cosmetology class.
