      • We have an English tutoring site, English as a foreign language. We now have 5 groups of children, from ages 8 to 17 years old. We are focusing on the elementary school children from the outlying communities transitioning to another district for high school as well as those that have made the shift. English is required at the high school level and many cannot keep up. Being a tutoring site gives us the flexibility to have nontraditional classes. The kids are used to having to sit quietly and memorize grammar. We have been able to incorporate games and songs. We also have the opportunity to interweave the Bible and the gospel message into the program. We want to provide a safe, fun place for the children to come. Where they can feel God’s love and learn about His amazing Grace.

The site teaches four different classes; cosmetology, cooking, event planning/decorating, and jewelry making. Most women in the site come from homes that are broken, abusive and most often neglected. By teaching biblical principles concerning self-confidence, responsibility, sexual purity, wise decision-making, and character development, the women’s lives are transformed. Our desire is that the women are restored and given tools to succeed now and into the future.
