Microfinance — Financial Education

The micro-finance ministry works with people in six communities, providing financial education, followed by small business loans averaging $200, to help either start their business or help grow it. The site has recently started a savings program as well. With each loan paid back they qualify for a larger loan. In weekly meetings they participate in a Bible study, discuss issues in their businesses, and make payments on their loans. In addition to the weekly meetings, Katia & Fernando reach out to the women through personal home visits and spiritual care.
