    • Site Description:
      • This site uses simple forms of technology to help people in poor communities to better their health and save money. We build and sell bio-sand water filters. The filters help to reduce waterborne diseases and thus reduce their need to stay home sick or go see a doctor. We use this tool to help provide opportunities for the poor and also build relationships so that we might share the gospel with them.

    • Site Description:
      • The Preschool Quinigua arises to provide the needs of attention and education for children in early ages in the Quinigua community. We work with Dominican and Haitian kids ages 3 to 5, and we try to give each one an experience as personalized as possible. As a development center, every day, we focus on working in four areas: - Spiritual: training them in the Word of God and teaching them about the beautiful purpose God has for each one of them. - Physical: due to people's social and economic level in the Quinigua community, we carry out a nutritional program in which we provide a daily healthy and balanced breakfast to each child. - Emotional: showing and teaching them how to name, understand, and manage their emotions and how to respect the emotions and feelings of others. - Academic: last but not least, we teach them and provide the right environment for them to learn the things they need to know at their ages, according to the Dominican curriculum.

      • Facilities and Maintenance participants play a vital role in ensuring the upkeep and repair of base buildings and ministry sites. Their responsibilities include maintaining the functionality and smooth operation of these facilities while assisting site leaders with their specific facility needs. Additionally, the site will serve as a platform for community outreach, incorporating initiatives such as Bible studies to foster engagement and spiritual growth within the local community.
  • Financial Education
    • Site Description:
      • The financial education site's goal is to help people in the community by sharing God's truth and love while providing education on finances and biblical stewardship. The site seeks to teach men and women how to manage personal finances through sharing classes about budgeting, saving, and business management. As the site developed, it will offer savings groups where members can earn interest on their savings. Additionally, the site has a coffee sale for. teams to support the savings group and provide a good interest rate for members.

      • Pray for wisdom for Brendaliz and Merary as they continue to bring medical care to this community where it is has not been available before.

In addition to regularly scheduled medical clinics, the site also helps to educate people on healthcare, nutrition, baby care, personal hygiene, and other health related issues. Students can expect to participate and plan presentations alongside the site leader for the medical clinics. Students will also have many opportunities to experience the Dominican culture through home and community visits.

    • Site Description:
      • The goal of the Media & Communications site is to produce meaningful photo and video that tells the story of what God is doing in our ministry. Team members will have the opportunity to capture significant moments about the different ministry projects and build relationships with people in the community The students will have the opportunity to visit all of our ministry sites and see the other participants serving through the different occupational sites.

    • Site Description:
      • The purpose of this site is to use sports, particularly soccer, as a way to develop relationships with the young men and boys through which the Gospel can effectively be communicated. Although the site typically concentrates on soccer, it can include others depending on the day of the week and time of the year. Devotionals and home visits contribute to achieving the goal of changing lives. Participants will be used to help with the bible studies and practices, as well as share their own testimony to the boys in the site.

      • Pray that as outreach participants come, they will be an encouragement to Amalfi and those she is serving in the community.
      • Pray that Amalfi will continue to find favor with the women and girls that she will be working with in the community so that she will be able to share with and minister to them. Praise God that so far the response has been great!

    • Site Description:
      • The social work site in Santiago builds unity among women and teenage girls through home visits, Bible study, craft projects, and various other activities. Most women in the site come because of brokenness, abuse, or neglect in their home. By teaching biblical principles concerning self-confidence, responsibility, sexual purity, wise decision-making, and character development, the women’s lives are transformed. In no other site do we see such radical changes in lives and homes. Participants can expect to be challenged in relating to women and girls of another culture and will be challenged to do so in a very personal manner.

    • Site Description:
      • The social work site focuses on supporting, encouraging and equipping young women and girls in our communities. By teaching biblical principles concerning self-confidence, responsibility, sexual purity, wise decision-making, and character development, women are given purpose and identity as they learn about their true source of hope and joy. Our "Madres y Bebés" program is an educational program designed to inform, equip and disciple young mothers. Participants can expect to walk alongside young women, who are often facing challenging circumstances, through different stages of development in pregnancy and throughout the first year of their baby's life. Participants can expect to be challenged in relating to women and girls of another culture and will be challenged to do so in a very personal manner.
