Michaela Serban
Hey, I’m Michaela! I’m originally from Fresno, California but I’ll be working with SI in Costa Rica as the Student Life Coordinator. Since middle school I’ve had a passion for missions and was able to go on outreaches to Haiti, Chicago, and in 2022 I went on a one-week outreach to Costa Rica with SI. After that trip the Lord put the desire in my heart to pursue long-term missions so I came back to Costa Rica as an intern for 6 months in 2023 and 7 months in 2024. I love getting to build relationships with the people in the community and visiting teams along with supporting our site leaders. It’s been such a blessing to get to witness and be a part of the life-changing ministry taking place in Costa Rica. As Student Life Coordinator I’ll be communicating with team leaders, organizing outreaches, maintaining our social media, and supporting site leaders.
