John Simmons

John Simmons is serving as a leader at the Sports (Baseball) in La Breña Santiago, Dominican Republic. John is from Cleveland, Tennessee, and first went on outreach in Jarabacoa in May of 2014, later serving as summer staff in 2016 in Jarabacoa. He graduated with a bachelor’s in Health/Wellness Education, and added endorsements. John has taught for two years and has a passion for sports, healthy habits, and the joy/lessons that can be taught through sports. He serves the site and community by growing relationships with boys and young men, showing the love and compassion of Christ and the joy that the Gospel brings.
