I am originally from Nicaragua. At the age of 2, my parents moved our family to Costa Rica. I grew up in a Christian family and accepted Jesus into my heart when I was 9 at the Baptist Church Una Luz en el Camino, in a pueblo called Morazan. Today I attend the Baptist Church in San Joaquin de Cutris, and I am convinced that accepting God was the greatest decision of my life. I work with children at church as a Sunday school teacher. Every 2 weeks the women of the different churches meet together to fast and pray. I also like working with at-risk youth and have collaborated in different jobs with older adults.

I started working with SI in January 2020 and am part of the team at the Training Center serving in the Microfinance ministry site. We work with women in different workshops such as sewing, painting nails, weaving, cooking, studying the Bible, and so on.

The idea is to give women in our community time to learn and develop new skills as well as make friends and learn more about God. We hope that they become empowered and encouraged women transformed by God. I hope they can fulfill their dreams in every way, spiritually and physically, and that God would restore and cover their families. Finally, I hope to be an example for the women with God's help as they seek to push forward and achieve what they set out to do.
