Sarah Barger Bellevue

Sarah is a Georgia native who has lived in Portland, OR the past three years but has felt God calling her to the Caribbean for quite some time. She is happy to join SI as a community health nurse in Jarabacoa. She is a specialist in pediatrics, having worked acute care, intermediate care, and in the surgical recovery room. She is very excited to live out her nursing career in the context of full time ministry by loving and serving people in the Dominican Republic! Nursing has been a huge way God has used Sarah to show tangible ministry to people in times when they need assurance and peace. She comes ready to serve and help heal the community, both with nursing and also with sharing the love of Christ.
