Rebeca Diaz

Rebeca is a nurse who started working with Students International in June of 2017. She is a native of Nicaragua and works with Doctor Celia Hernandez in 5 rural communities, tending to approximately 300 people each month. While many people come to a consultation for a physical pain, nearly all the patients have deeper spiritual needs as well. Through her relationships built during the appointments, there is opportunity for Celia and Rebeca to minister and point people towards Christ. They are also beginning to promote a Women's Group to teach about living a healthy life through good nutrition and exercise. While they meet, she also does a small Bible study with them. She is married to Eligio and they have 5 children. She worked 10 years previously as a nurse prior to joining our staff.
