Daniel Calderon

Dani grew up in a Christian family but it was not until 20 years of age that he truly met Christ. As a teenager, the desire to test and try the things of the world fought for his attention. Dani has always had a passion for speaking about Christ even when he didn't fully understand Christ's love. God began a process of transformation in Dani, leading him to leave many things behind and accept Christ's call in his life. In the same way, Dani responded to the call to know Jesus, he has responded to the call to serve Him.
Dani has been working with Students International (SI) since 2016. He is currently serving in the Los Guido community at the Creative Arts Workshop. In the Creative Arts Workshop, Dani is able to pour into the lives of the youth and encourage them to continue to attend high school, make healthy choices, and deepen their relationship with the Lord. Dani's dream is to be able to expand the Woodshop into an Arts & Trade Center where individuals from the community could come and develop new skills in the areas of Graphic Design, Music, Painting, Carpentry, and more.
