Juan Centeno

Juan Centeno began working with Students International in July of 2014 and has been serving at the Casa Verde Community Center in Las Fuentes Social Services site. His days are spent leading a variety of activities including teaching music lessons, Bible times, coaching soccer practices and games, and overseeing the Las Fuentes Bike Club (where adolescent boys can come to repair their bikes, have healthy community, and learn more about Jesus).
Juan was born in Costa Rica and has lived his entire life in the Los Guido community. His wife, Ana Yanci, and their four children, Anderson, Gipzy, Jafeth, and Wesley are very involved in their local church. Juan is a talented singer and musician who plays bass, keyboard, and the guitar while using his talents to serve on the worship team on Sundays and also at special events.

Staff with Students International raise all of their own financial support in order to stay on the mission field and serve where God has called them. You can join a staff member’s support team by donating on a monthly basis or with a one-time gift. All donations (from the US) are tax-deductible.
