José Malespin serves as a leader in the Tutoring Center site in San Jose, Costa Rica. He started working with Students International full time in 2011. José is sharing the love of Jesus with children and teenagers through education, bible discipleship, and running a bike club with the neighborhood boys.
José was born in Nicaragua and moved to Costa Rica when he was 14 years old. José received his college degree in mathematics from the National University in Costa Rica. He is currently furthering his education in seminary and hopes to complete his Master’s Degree in Theology in the next few years. José and his wife Nicola welcomed their first baby, Joen, on August 31st of 2015.
