The Special Education site is a professional service center for people with special needs in Magdalena and the surrounding villages. Our center is located in the middle of Magdalena Milpas Altas. We provide special education, physical therapy, occupational therapy, spiritual development, and emotional care. Participants will have the opportunity to participate directly with the patients by encouraging them in developing new skills. Participants will help to organize and lead activities (games, songs, readings, and other stimulation activities), to form and develop relationships. Another important part of this ministry is visiting the patients and their families in their homes. Our hope and prayer is to see these people and their families transformed into the likeness of Christ.
