Trade School Internships
Trade School | Guatemala
Internship Start Dates: January, May or August (Program length ranges from 4-12 months)
Description: The trade school is an avenue to build relationships and share the gospel. Through this trade school, men of all ages from the communities of Magdalena, El Gorrión, and San Miguel will have the opportunity to learn practical skills, working with carpentry, welding, and glasswork. We have started an Aquaponics project that we hope will be fully operational this year. This will allow us to begin to explore how we can grow fish and vegetables in more urban environments, like on the roof of a house or in a small yard. Interns will participate in the trade school classes, home visits, and sharing devotionals.
Skills/Background Needed: Must be able to do physical labor without issues.
