Two weeks! Two weeks until it’s time for our Global Bridge students to hop on planes and start their journey here to join us on the field. This year we have one student going into year three of the Global Bridge program and heading to Guatemala, three students returning for their second year and continuing the program in Jarabacoa, and five new students joining us for the first time in Santiago! We’re excited to have all of these students with us – to create new relationships and to continue growing them with those that have spent time with us here before, as well as to see the growth God has in store for each and every one of them. Even for the four that have been through at least one year of the program before, this is no small, easy move. So, we ask that you keep our students in your prayers as they begin to say their goodbyes at home, as they go about their big travel day, and as they integrate into life here in the Dominican Republic and in Guatemala.

Please pray for their families as many of them are sending off their children for the first time in their lives. 

Pray that the students feel God’s peace over them even when the anxiety of moving to a country that isn’t their own kicks in. Pray for the relationships that they’re about to make and that God will lead the right people into each of their lives in order to pour into them and give each of them the continual spiritual and emotional support they need to thrive and grow during their time in the program.
