It is good to stop and remember the wonders that God has done in us through the years, that is why we want to share today about the faithfulness of God in our ministry.

Did you know that since the Education site began, we have seen 8 classes graduate? 43 students in total? That is reason to celebrate! But it also causes us to think about what has happened to these young people after graduation. Could it be that they got a new job? Could it be that some of them went on to study at a college? Could it be that they have good relationships with their families, friends or in their workplaces?

Well, to find out what is happening in their lives, we meet with them once a year at the education site. This year, the theme was “A Time to Remember.” Each person shared about some of their favorite moments that they remembered from their time spent at the site. Many of our past students shared about the devotional time and how that was one of their favorite parts about coming to the education site. How it taught them to turn to Jesus and turn to His word during all seasons of their lives.

MicrosoftTeams image 1 A Time to RememberWe took some time and shared 1 Samuel 7: 12, which talks about how God gave victory and protection to the Israelites against the Philistines, and after that, Samuel took a stone called Ebenezer, which means “stone of help”.

We asked them, “What do you do when you are facing a difficult situation” A few of them shared about how Jesus has been their refuge and how they remember what they were taught and now put it into practice.

One of the alumni, Sofia, is now a 20-year-old girl who was facing family problems that  made her think about leaving home. However, through clinging to that rock of help that is Jesus, she decided to stay with her family. The Lord put it on her heart to unite her family and to speak the word of God to her parents.

What a joy it is to see the fruit produced in each one of them and for that we can only thank God by saying Ebenezer- Ebenezer you have helped us get to here!
