I'm originally from Coarsegold, California, and I studied Kinesiology with an emphasis in Secondary Education at Fresno Pacific University. For 7.5 years I taught high school PE, coached soccer, and helped kids who desired to go to college but did not necessarily have the support they needed. I first came on an outreach and then interned for a summer with SI before coming on as full-time staff in January of 2016. I believe God has called me to use the skills and abilities He has given me as a tool to share His love with the people in the communities that I have been able to grow close with.
I work within the sports and recreation ministry site where we provide soccer practices and various recreational games like ping-pong and handball to the local communities of La Capri, Los Guido, and Las Fuentes. I am seeking God's guidance to reach out to the women within these same communities to develop bootcamp exercise classes and invest in these relationships to share God's love.
